Press-conference at the Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine 2010

In 2007 CDM started cooperation with Vinnytsia National Technical University by opening CRM developers’ courses at the university. The purpose of the cooperation is human resource development in the sphere of software development and CRM technologies. Students get to know CRM business concept and study Microsoft technologies during 1,5 years of study. Best students are employed in the Ukrainian subsidiary of CDM A/S after the completion of the courses. Cooperation has been successfully going on since then.

As a part of the above mentioned cooperation, Thomas Bomberg, the Country manager of the Ukrainian subsidiary of CDM A/S, took part in the press-conference at the Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine, which took place on September, 13, 2010.

The conference was devoted to the jubilee tenth final of the All-Ukrainian Students’ Programming Competition and rose a question of possibility of holding the semi final International Contest of South-Eastern Europe in Ukraine as well as general problems of keeping talented Ukrainian developers in the country. The MSEU representatives, Contest organizing committee, gold medallists of the world championships, leading trainers of Ukrainian teams, business representatives, etc, were present at the conference.

The mutual benefits of the cooperation between CDM A/S and VNTU were raised in the presentation of Thomas Bomberg. The key-note of his presentation at the conference was the idea that Ukrainian companies should have a better understanding of staff potential in Ukraine. He stated that the main task for today was employment of the talented youth in Ukraine: “This will be the biggest investment in the country’s development”.
